It’s been quite a while since I’ve reflected on life here. To say things have been interesting is the cornerstone of my future writings. God has given me so much to work through in this January 2024 that I sometimes had to stop to ask Him why me. Why must I go through these things? What are the lessons? But why not me, a sinner, right? It’s been fierce going, but I continue to focus on what’s important. Not judging, not falling into unfamiliar traps, and instead moving full speed ahead as I bathe in God’s Word. It is only through my relationship with Him, I know I’ll pull through.
So, with those said friends, I hope you’ve had a great Christmas, and your New Year has been good to you. As I quickly write this short message to you, my eyes are keenly on my granddaughter who is spending a few days with me. I have so much material based on experiences of the last few months to share with you. And, honestly just sitting here writing out these simple thoughts has quenched my heavy heart so much.
I hope to be back here more consistently in the next week or so. Remember, life can throw us some serious and hurtful curve balls. Stay with God friends, for it’s the only way to survive mentally, emotionally, and even physically in this somewhat chaotic world.
