
Belizean Powdered Buns

- Parchment Paper
- Large Baking Pan
- Cooling Rack
Ingredients
- 4 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 Cups Light or Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsps Baking Powder
- 2 Tbsps Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Stick Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Eggs
- 2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk
- 2 Tbsps Vanilla
- 3/4 Cup Raisins
Instructions
- Pre-heat over to 350 degrees, and prepare baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix all ingredients together and prepare the buns to bake as shown in the video. Bake for 20-25 minutes, then place powedered buns into the broiler and let brown for a minute or so. Please keep and eye on them so that they will not burn. The caloric count is for 2 powdered buns. This recipe should yeild about 24.Enjoy!
