- 1 Measuring cup
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 Wooden spoon
- 1 Strainer
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 12 oz Sterilized canning jar
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Filtered water
- 1 1/2 Cups White sugar
- 2 Tbsps. Dried and crushed Lavender Flowers
- Drops of natural Lavender food coloring Optional
Instructions
- Add water to saucepan, add sugar and mix together. Add dried lavender flowers and bring to a soft boil. Turn down stove and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Strain out lavender flowers, let syrup cool down and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour in prepared sterilized jar. Refrigerate for up to 1 month. Use in nonalcoholic drinks, lattes, or tea.
