Add water to saucepan, add sugar and mix together. Add dried lavender flowers and bring to a soft boil. Turn down stove and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Strain out lavender flowers, let syrup cool down and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour in prepared sterilized jar. Refrigerate for up to 1 month. Use in nonalcoholic drinks, lattes, or tea.
