Peach Brittle
An excellent naturally flavored candy treat.
Equipment
- 1 Heavy pan
- 1 spatula
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 sheet parchment paper
- safety gloves
Ingredients
- 30 ounces granulated sugar
- 12 ounces water
- 6 ounces corn syrup
- 2 Tbsps. peace powder
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
- 2 Tbsps. toasted pine nuts
Instructions
- Add sugar, water, and corn syrup to pot and allow this mixture to come to hard candy stage (about 300 degrees on a candy thermometer). Add peach powder, mix and carefully pour into prepared baking pan lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with pine nuts, mini marshmallows, and about 1 teaspoon of peach powder. Let cool completely.
